Summer Program and Collegiate Program Reels
“Our daughter aspires to be a professional dancer and is pursuing a BFA in Dance. We knew that colleges have similar but slightly different requirements for pre-screening reel submission. This step is a significant part of the college admission process and we did not want to risk engaging a ‘standard’ application coach.
We turned to Collegiate Arts Prep and its founder Paige Borowski because she has ‘been there and done that’. As a graduate of The Juilliard School and her interaction with numerous directors and artists, Paige’s knowledge of the Dance artistry was a tremendous help in refining our daughter’s submission reels. She made meaningful and significant adjustments to our daughter’s artistic routines so that her strongest skills were clearly presented. She engaged and coordinated with CAP’s videographer, Delaney Finnegan, to ensure that the right angles were taken and that the lighting was perfect.
Paige and her team were flexible to our calendar needs and were available when we needed them. Paige’s assistance in our planning ensured that no deadlines took us by surprise. And because Paige listened and studied our daughter’s submissions, she was able to highlight specific skills in addition to helping our daughter focus on areas that needed improvement. Paige knows the angles, poses, and expressions that made a difference in the application process for our daughter.
